One of the benchmarks of young people, for me, has been how, when talking, they define themselves by what they like. Later, of course, people tend to define themselves by what they do: at some point, I'm hoping I can see myself more in terms of what I've done ( which seems not much, still).

1. Go dancing twice a month.
2. Run 10 k
3. Do another triathlon
4. Write 3 plays
5. Get savings back to where they were before I got sick.

I know I had more ideas but they slip my mind.

BP 135/85, not as good as the 110
/78 from 10 days ago but still quite good. Dr says my stress levels seem much lowered so okay to have reduced the amitriptyline, and if my breathing gets bad to stop the propanolol immediately; stick with the training and although the next month may be a hot spot, once I get through it I should be pretty well well. I've got this great idea to run a writers' retreat here in Vulcano. Day one on holiday: ran 3 k, finished act 1 of my play. Today: walked four miles, swam laps. Ate lots of lamb, very tired now.

I'll write more when I have a chance to catch my breath. I'm back in work ad of yesterday. I'm really exhausted both from lack of sleep and, I think, just from mental stress.
